Humanity's Fire Vol 3: The Ascendant Stars – Interim Report
Blog posts, you may find, are becoming scarcer of late. Simple reason being that I am engaged in the furious ongoing writing of The Ascendant Stars, 3rd part of the Humanitys Fire trilogy. Plenty happening, of course, now that the story threads are drawer closer together and the dramatic clashes grow more frequent and more intense. I’m enjoying the hell out of it, and I aint even reached the first really big battle yet!
Patience, my people, patience and all will be revealed. In time, of course.

Just as a curiosity… How would I go about if I wanted a signed copy of The Ascendent Stars when it’s ready? And a trip to Scotland, as tempting as it is, is not an alternative in the foreseeable future I’m afraid… :-/

I’ve not had any update on this yet – I’m hoping that it won’t be long, but shall enquire on Monday.

I am told that the official ebook publication date is October 7th, altho the info on that has yet to filter through the various ebook outlets. Once I’ve seen that it has, I’ll make a proper blogpost about it.

Hi Andy – well, that was back in July last year, so the ebooks of vols 1&2 are out now; the ebook of vol 3, The Ascendant Stars, appears not to have a release date yet, although the paperback is due for November 3rd. As soon as I have a definite ebook date for that, I’ll post it.

I just listened to the first two books from Audible, and I am loving the series! I cant wait for the third book! You sir, are an amazing author!

Hi Will – many thanks for the kind words. It’s both satisfying and a relief to know that folk out there are enjoying the stories I wove into the Humanity’s Fire books, although WRT the audiobooks I have to acknowledge the high esteem in which I hold David Thorpe, the guy who has narrated books 1 and 2. I felt that he really captured the spirit of both the characters and the tale.

Just want to say your books are awesome, i have listened to the first 2 audio books and WOW! best describes them, cant wait to get “The Ascendent Stars” will get it asap. WHEN ARE THE MOVIES coming out would be the best Si-Fi movies made for along time

Ricki, many thanks for the kind words – well, so happens that the trilogy will be coming out in the States next year, so I guess its possible that someone in Hollywood might just take notice! Fingers crossed, matey!
