Of course, as you might guess, plans don`t always work out the way you imagine they will. I had hoped that this website would get a substantial upgrade but other matters came along and too precedence. The Shadowkings trilogy, as published by Simon & Schuster, are now officially out of print and the rights have now reverted back to me. In retrospect, I think I was over-ambitious with the trilogy's overall structure, ie having book 3, Shadowmasque, take place 300 years afte the events in Shadowgod was too great a dislocation for the general readership to stay onboard. But hey, you live and write and (hopefully) learn to do things better. If I was planning it now, I would definitely do it differently.

For the future, it would be great to see the trilogy reprinted by another publisher; I do have ideas for a sequel which would fulfill one of my ambitions, to be the author of a 4-volume trilogy! Marvellous!

For now, though, all my energies are directed into the 1st volume of my Humanity's Fire space opera, SEEDS OF EARTH, due out March 5th; updates on that will continue to appear on my Wordpress blog (http://rockitboy.wordpress.com/) until a dedicated HFire site is up and running, but worry not for when it happens you`ll hear about it!
